Last Thursday evening, Swingers Crazy Golf in London was abuzz with energy as the second annual Cartwright Cup 2024 – Inter Livery Crazy Golf took centre stage. Held on October 17, 2024, this event brought together a lively mix of Livery Companies for an evening of friendly rivalry, laughter, and spirited camaraderie.
The Battle for the Tiniest Trophy
This year’s event did not disappoint. The competition, known for its quirky take on golf, was as fierce as ever, with each team vying for the coveted (and smallest!) trophy in Livery. The enthusiasm was infectious, with players and spectators alike cheering each putt, miss, and outrageous trick shot.
A Memorable Evening
From the outset, the atmosphere at Swingers Crazy Golf, nestled in the heart of the city at 8 Brown’s Buildings, EC3A 8AL, was electric. Whether it was the impeccably planned venue setup, the joyful chatter of guests, or the nail-biting competition, the evening offered something for everyone.
Victory for the Company of Entrepreneurs
After a night of entertaining antics and some surprisingly skilful shots, it was The Company of Entrepreneurs that emerged victorious! Their determination, teamwork, and a touch of creative flair led them to claim the title of 2024 champions.
As a participant, I had an incredible time. The event not only celebrated the spirit of competition but also the enduring sense of community that makes the Livery Companies so unique.
